Powerball Winner From WA State

The 5th Largest Powerball in History

A Powerball ticket sold in Washington state that won the $754.6 million jackpot on Monday night, marked the 34th drawing for the current jackpot. The winner can either choose the annuity option of $747 million paid out over 29 years, or the cash option of $407.2 million before taxes. This is the fifth largest Powerball jackpot in history and the ninth largest U.S. lottery prize ever.

It makes one wonder, if you were to win a large lottery prize, what would you do with it? In the past, high stake lottery winners have used their money in a variety of ways, including:

Invested in Real Estate, stocks, and other assets

Started businesses or investing in existing ones

Donate to charity and helping out their family, friends, community

Paying off debts and Mortgages

Luxurious lifestyles, by traveling, purchasing expensive cars, boats, and jewelry

Saving and investing for their future

Every winner has their own unique situation, goals, and values, and therefore, may choose to handle their winnings differently. Some may choose to keep a low profile and continue living a modest lifestyle, while others may enjoy the newfound wealth and fame that comes with winning a high stake lottery.

What would you do if you won MILLIONS? Post your comment!
